What do we look for in a movie? A story, a message, humour, fun? Well, ZNMD's got all of that and add to it a superb starcast making it one of the most likeable movies of today! Zoya Akhtar who debuted with Luck by Chance truly shows what it takes to be an intelligent director. In spite of a not so strong storyline, the movie makes for a good watch mainly because of its direction and the dialogues that are sprinkled with silly-yet-pleasing humour!
ZNMD is about friends, relationships and life. Three friends (Hrithik, Farhan, Abhay) take a trip to Spain and discover various aspects of life amidst their journey. Katrina helps Hrithik break the monotony of life and shows him how to live each moment and sieze the day! Farhan who is at his chirpy best learns about his real dad only to respect his mom even more and thus mends his relationship with her. Abhay realizes he's taken some real bad decisions and eventually corrects them.
With a smile to die for, Abhay is absolutely charming. Hrithik lives up to his Greek God image but Farhan steals the show with his brilliant expressions and witty jokes! Katrina's adorable and Kalki plays the character of a rich-high-profile-girl-about-to-get-married to a tee!
To cut a long story short...each character chooses a sport which helps them conquer their fear only to realize that life is meant to be lived, each moment to be cherished! Now, don't we know this already? Sure we do but do we practise it, always? Not really...ZNMD tells you just that and in a refreshing way!
So if you've forgotten what living in the moment means or if you just want to unwind and have fun, ZNMD is definitely for you. Go watch it!!
